They got to the edge of the city, nabhan practically ripped off Tristons shirt "what the hell!?" Triston yelled "i'm gonna burn into a crisp!" he said "this'll toughen you up! marriage is like walking across this desert, long, blistering and a lot of struggle" nabhan said "th....that doesnt make much sense" Triston said "its not suppose to... off you go now" Nabhan said giving him a slight push which sent Triston tumbling down the sand hill

triton stood up and spit the sand out of his mouth 'why am i doing this!?' he thought, then he thought about Masago and something inside him wanted to do this for her.

"Maybe." Masago said with a shrug. "Are you actually intrested in him?" Najibah demanded to know. She knew that the boy may not make it back.

Triston sat on a flat rock he could see the ocean a few miles off, he was parched, he sat cross legged waiting for 24 hours to be up.

Masago took the amulet out when Najibah was gone. She could tell Trin was pissed so Masago sent the amulet to where Triston was.
